Laura Josey
After 15 years in Retail Management, Laura left to pursue her love of animals. Once she completed her Veterinary Assistant Program, Laura spent her externship at Sackville Animal Hospital and she never left. She was happily accepted into the Sackville Family and we are very happy to have her.
Laura loves all aspects of patient care, especially assisting the full service Surgery Team. Here is where she is at her happiest because she knows that the pets in her care are at their most vulnerable. The Surgery Team all know that their actions and attention is key to changing a very scary moment into a more relaxed experience for our furry visitors.
When Laura’s not working she enjoys horseback riding, gardening and cooking. She shares her home with her fiancé, their 3 year old Basset Hound, Roland, and their two senior cats, Recce and Roxy.
