Rae Lea Young

Registered Veterinary Technician

Rae was born and raised in Montague, Prince Edward Island and moved to Nova Scotia by the time she started elementary school. She has had a lifelong love of animals and always knew that she would become a Registered Veterinary Technician and was qualified by the time she was 20 years old. She is an advocate of patient care and treats every patient like her own, and loves connecting with the owners as well! She enjoys all aspects of Vet medicine but mainly behavioural, rehabilitation, neonatal and nutritional medicine.

Rae and her partner have a new fur baby at home called Millie, she is a one year old Terrier mix and she is a sweetheart. She was adopted through one of the Rescue Associations that Sackville Animal Hospital work with, Save A Life Canada. Millie has an older sibling, Ford, who is a two-year-old English Bulldog and the two make quite the pair! In her spare time Rae enjoys spending downtime with family and friends, reading, going for road trips and finding new places to hike.
